Starting Pitcher: Mike Pelfrey (5-8, 4.55 ERA)

Pelfrey lost his last start before the All-Star break, giving up two runs in six innings to the Giants. He hasn't fared well against the Phillies in his career either. He is 6-5 with a 5.01 ERA against Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES

Starting Pitcher: Kyle Kendrick (4-4, 3.58 ERA)

Kendrick is getting the start today so that Cliff Lee and Roy Halladay can get some extra rest before beginning the second half. In his career, he is 3-5 with a 3.07 ERA against the Mets.

Carlos Beltran is out of the lineup again today due to the flu.

Jose Reyes ran the bases this morning at full speed. According to Steve Popper, Reyes felt great and is expected to make one rehab start in Brooklyn before returning to the Mets.
