The Mets unveiled the logo for the 2013 All-Star Game, which will be held at Citi Field. The 2013 All-Star Game will be the second hosted by the Mets. They first hosted the mid-summer classic back in 1964.
I like it. It's simple.
Current Mets David Wright, R.A. Dickey, and Johan Santana were joined by former players Keith Hernandez, Ron Darling, Dwight Gooden, and John Franco, as well as representatives from MLB and New York City, to present the official logo.
According to New York First Deputy Mayor Patricia E. Harris, the All-Star Game could bring in as much as $200 million dollars to help boost the city's economy.

ICYMI: The Week In Review
Mike Baxter tied a franchise record, walking five times in Saturday's game in San Diego.
Johan Santana is scheduled to pitch in a rehab game for Brooklyn today. He is expected to return to the Mets next weekend.
Jeremy Hefner is scheduled to join the bullpen once Santana returns to the rotation.
Speaking of Hefner, you won't find him on Twitter any more. He deleted his account after writing, "By the way I am a Christian and absolutely love Chik-fil-A!" As you can expect, this went over well. Unfortunately, rather than countering Hefner's opinion with a respectful rebuttal, he was greeted with hate. I don't blame him for leaving.
The Mets have decided that at some point before the season ends, they will use R.A. Dickey on short rest. They have not, however, decided when that will be.
Frank Francisco returned to the Mets after a stint on the disabled list with a strained oblique. He threw two pitches in his first relief appearance last night to earn the save.
Top pitching prospect, Zack Wheeler, has been promoted to Triple-A Buffalo. He probably won't make it to the big leagues this year though. He is getting close to reaching his innings limit and will most likely be shut down by the end of August.
Sandy Alderson stated that Matt Harvey has an innings limit as well. He will be held to just 165-170 innings in the majors. That means he could be shut down by mid-September.
The trading deadline came and went this week with the Mets making zero moves.
On the injury front...
Kirk Nieuwenhuis, who was sent down to Buffalo earlier in the week, suffered a torn plantar fascia in his right foot.
Tim Byrdak was placed on the disabled list with shoulder discomfort. He hurt himself on a pitch in Arizona. He will have an MRI on Monday.
Daniel Murphy has been suffering from a wrist injury since being hit on the wrist by a pitch on Thursday. So far, he has just been taping it up and playing through it.
Andres Torres suffered a thumb injury after a play at first base Monday night. An X-ray showed that there was nothing broken.
