Mets Morning News: Change Up At SNY, Niese Cleared

According to the NY Post, Al Michaels and Bob Costas will begin calling games on SNY beginning July 8. The pair will share the announcing duties with Gary Cohen and Ron Darling.
When Michaels and Costas are on SNY, Mets broadcasters Gary Cohen and Ron Darling will move to MLB Network.
Following a battery of tests at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Jon Niese has been cleared to make his scheduled start tonight against the Yankees. Niese left his last start against the Rangers due to a rapid heart beat. According to Niese, he has had a rapid heart beat before.
"When it happens, it races, then it goes away after a few seconds. It's only when I pitch. It's not like I'm sitting, watching TV, and my heart races."
In other injury news, Manny Acosta left Thursday's game after facing just one batter. He suffered a contusion on his right wrist after making a play.
