- Jon Niese pitched a fine game, going 7.2 innings and giving up two runs on eight hits. He struck out seven and walked just one.
- Daniel Murphy had another multi-hit game, going 2-4 with an RBI.
- Jason Isringhausen, who appears Terry Collins is trying to pitch to death, blew the game in the eighth inning with a little help from Jose Reyes. On a routine ground ball by Alex Gonzalez, Reyes simply didn't reach the ball and as a result, Dan Uggla scored the tying run.
- Francisco Rodriguez gave up three more runs to the Braves in the ninth on an Eric Hinkse home run and a two-run double by Freddie Freeman. For those of you keeping track at home, yes, he did get a game finished tonight.
Next up: The Mets send Dillon Gee to the mound tomorrow night to face Jair Jurrjens.
