Mets Hope The Hits Keep Coming Against The Pirates

Starting Pitcher: R.A. Dickey (2-5, 4.50 ERA)

The Mets weren't sure if Dickey would be making tonight's start after suffering a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his last start. Dickey was able to convince Terry Collins, however, he was good to go. He is 1-0 against the Pirates with a 3.24 ERA.

PITTSBURGH PIRATES

Starting Pitcher: James McDonald (3-3, 5.23 ERA)

McDonald retired 17 of the last 20 batters he faced in his last start. He has struggled to get through the first inning in a few of his starts so far this season. he is 0-1 with 4.41 ERA against the Mets.

METS LINEUP:

Pagan-CF, Turner-2B, Beltran-RF, Bay-LF, Murphy-3B, Evans-1B, Thole-C, Tejada-SS, Dickey-RHP

NOTES:

It's not good news for Ike Davis, who has been trying to heal a sprained ankle and bone bruise.
