Reyes Meets With Scott Boras...This Can't Be Good

According to Ken Rosenthal, Scott Boras is meeting with Jose Reyes about representing the shortstop. The fact that Reyes would even entertain a meeting with super-agent Boras means one thing, he wants some of this:

Rosenthal points out the following:

"Reyes, a potential free agent, currently is represented by Peter Greenberg. A switch to Boras almost certainly would reduce his chances of re-signing with the Mets."

Reyes is the best player in baseball right now. I get that he deserves to be paid. But if he truly loves New York like he claims he does, he'll stay away from money grubber Boras.
