Mets Morning News 5-1-11

Peter Botte of the Daily News writes that Carlos Beltran is looking very comfortable in right field, despite playing with arthritic knees.

Mike Repole, co-founder of Vitaminwater, says he is not interested in becoming a minority owner of the Mets. If the Wilpons were to sell 100 percent of the team, he may attempt to buy the team.

Richard Sandomir of the New York Times writes why Commissioner Bud Selig's treatment of the Mets and Dodgers differs so much. Sandomir says, "Selig appears to regard Wilpon as a trustworthy, solid citizen, but McCourt as a problem child in need of adult supervision."
