Hedge Fund Manager Looks To Be Potential Investor

Hedge Fund Manager Steven A. Cohen is said to be the front-runner to buy a minority stake in the Mets.

According to the New York Times, "Cohen is an extremely private hedge fund manager whose profits have been consistently lucrative and whose trading records are now being examined by federal prosecutors."

Really? Have the Mets learned nothing from the whole Bernie Madoff fiasco?

Why even put yourself and the team in that position?

The New York Post pointed out that, "Cohen wants it."

You know what I want? I want a team whose owners are not connected to insider trading or Ponzi schemes. I want a team whose owners can just put together a winning team.

Is that asking too much?
