NEW YORK METS
Starting Pitcher: Chris Young (1-0, 1.88 ERA)
Young went seven shutout innings in his last outing against Philadelphia. Against the Dodgers, he is 2-5 with a 4.02 ERA. There don't seem to be any lingering effects from the bicep tendinitis that sidelined him a few weeks back.

LOS ANGELES DODGERS
Starting Pitcher: Jon Garland (1-2, 3.81 ERA)
Garland got touched up for three runs in one particularly bad inning, in what was otherwise a good start his last time out. He looks to bounce back tonight against the Mets. Lifetime, Garland is 1-1 with a 3.00 ERA against New York.
