Mets Make It Three In A Row, Beat Dodgers

The Mets beat the Dodgers 4-2 and now have a three game win streak.

  • Dillon Gee made the start tonight for the Mets, after Chris Young was a late scratch due to an inability to get loose while warming up in the bullpen. Gee went 5.1 innings, allowing two runs on seven hits, while striking out three and walking three.
  • Jason Pridie went 3-3. The three hits are a career high.
  • Jose Reyes had a rough night on the base paths. After getting picked off at first base earlier in the game, he was then tagged out while trying to advance from second to third after David Wright hit a ground ball to short.
  • Justin Turner had a pinch-hit two-run single in the eighth to put the Mets up for good, 4-2.
  • Francisco Rodriguez pitched his first one-two-three inning of the season to record his ninth save.
Next up: The Mets look to sweep the Dodgers tomorrow as they wrap up their home stand. Game time is 1:10 p.m.
