Pelfrey, Mets Avoid Arbitration

According to ESPN New York, Mike Pelfrey has agreed to a deal with the Mets that will land him $3.925 million plus an additional $50,000 in bonuses.

Of the three Mets eligible for arbitration this offseason, Pelfrey was the one expected to go to arbitration.

R.A. Dickey and Angel Pagan exchanged their salary requests today, and could be heading for a hearing in February if a settlement is not reached.
