Albert Pujols will not become a Met. It's that simple.
He has as good a chance of becoming a Met as I do.
I see Pujols being a Cardinal for life, and the thought of Cardinal ownership and GM John Mozeliak being dumb enough to let a player like Pujols hit the free agent market at the end of the 2011 season, is insane.
Pujols is not the answer to the Mets' problems. Would he be a nice addition? Absolutely. An answer to Mets fans prayers? Hardly.
Besides, who said Pujols was ever interested in becoming a Met anyway?
