Chris Young has agreed to a deal with the Mets pending a physical, according to ESPN.
The physical will be an important part of this considering Young, 31, missed most of the 2010 season with a strained right shoulder.
As stated by Adam Rubin, assuming all goes well and Young passes his physical, the Mets look as though they could have a five-man rotation set, at least for the beginning of the season. That rotation consisting of Mike Pelfrey, R.A. Dickey, Jon Niese, Chris Capuano, and now possibly Young.
