Mets Morning News: Wilpon, Bleeding Cash, And Oh Yeah, A Game

In case you've been living under a rock, Mets owner Fred Wilpon blasted David Wright, Jose Reyes, and Carlos Beltran in an extensive interview with the New Yorker.

According to the Daily News, Wilpon admitted in an upcoming Sports Illustrated story that the Mets are "bleeding cash," and could lose up to $70 million this year alone.

Hey, if you're interested in actual baseball game at all, the Mets are beginning a three-game series tonight in Chicago against the Cubs. The Mets send Jon Niese to the mound against Ryan Dempster.
