Mets Morning News 5-25-11

The Mets didn't go out of their way to prove their owner wrong in Tuesday's game, losing to the Cubs 11-1.

Jason Bay left Tuesday's game in the seventh inning with a stiff right calf. Bay called it a, "non-issue," and he plans to be in tonight's lineup.

Brian Costa of the Wall Street Journal describes how the life of a Major League ball player isn't always glamorous, especially players who are "at the fringes of the roster."

  1. Good WSJ article. Thanks for the link.

But isn't, for all intents and purposes, every Met now on the fringe of the roster? Can we even know right now who on the team today will be here next season??!
