Mets Can't Keep Braves In The Park

The fact that I had to listen to Tim McCarver was enough to make me a little cranky for this afternoon's game. Then the Mets decided to pile it on a little more and extend their losing streak, falling 4-2 to the Braves.

  • D.J. Carrasco went 3.2 innings, giving up three runs on four hits, while striking out two. All three runs were home runs.
  • Pat Misch threw two innings of relief and gave up a solo shot to Freddie Freeman in the bottom of the 6th inning.
  • Mets batters were held to just six hits all game.
Game two starts at 7:40 p.m. on SNY. Mike Pelfrey gets the start.
