Help Wanted: Pitchers, Hitters, Fielders Needed

The Mets dropped the second game of the doubleheader by a score 9-4. They have now lost eight of their last nine games.

  • Chris Capuano went 5.2 innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits, while striking out five.
  • Mets batters were held to just five hits, and were 2-11 with runners in scoring position.
There's really nothing else about this game or day that needs to written about. The Mets move on to Atlanta tomorrow for a three game series.
