Pitchers and catchers will report to Spring Training on February 20. Position players are scheduled to report February 25.
I know many fans are not excited about the 2012 season, but having an official date makes me happy.
With winter starting tomorrow, I don't really care what the team looks like at this point. I just want to see some baseball.
Baseball = summer and warm weather.
I got a small bit of excitement from your posting of Feb 20... but that excitement will escalate exponentially once we turn the corner on the new year.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it feels like 2012 will be a disaster... I'm even envisioning fans with brown bags over their heads... is it even easy to get those anymore??? In any case, while it feels like it will be a disaster, being a fan means hoping for a Division Title. Ha ha ha, LOL, i know, so Wildcard then. Well, that still seems like a joke but i couldn't be a fan and not hope for that! We'll see. First things first - gettin' those spikes laced up in Port St. Lucie! That actually gives me a big smile. Baseball!!!!
