Lucas Duda had surgery yesterday to repair his right wrist, which he fractured last month while moving furniture back home in Southern California.
Sounds like something that would happen to a Mets player.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Andrew Weiland, the team's hand specialist, at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.
He is expected to be ready for Spring Training.
Interesting article. It's nice to see that we are now able to do these things, we as if you think about it, we never imagined that it would be like this or this advanced 20 or 30 years back. It's great that our technology is coming along pretty well, that's a huge advantage for all of us. These types of repairs are never easy, so the more we know the better for all of us.
